: (1879) 138th Anniversary of the perpetual missionary oath of Bro. Amans Delmas. It was at Nabulagala. - Day of Prayer and reflection for the religious in Uganda at Mapeera-Nabulagala Catholic Parish. - (1868) 149th Anniversary of the foundation of the Society of the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers) in Algiers, Algeria. - (2014): Beatification of Pope Paul VI by Pope Francis. Pope Paul VI canonised the Uganda Martyrs in 1964 and visited Uganda in 1969 (31st July - 2nd August). He is given the title of “The Pilgrim Pontiff”.
