(1876) Departure from England of the first group of 8 Protestant Missionaries of the C.M.S. destined for Uganda. Two of them, Shergold-Smith and C. T.

: (1925) Consecration of Lubaga Cathedral. In that year, the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers and White Sisters) were celebrating the centenary of the birth of their founder, Cardinal Charles Lavigerie who was born on this date in 1825.
